Caring for the homeless cat population in Los Angeles, FixNation , offers free spay and neuter services to caregivers of community cats. The group, founded in 2007, also provides a free, full-time spay and neuter clinic for homeless stray and feral cats, plus low-cost, spay and neuter services for tame pet cats.

I received a call yesterday from a woman who started a coalition for homeless cats. They have this particular package in rural and urban low-income areas and will allow people to bring ferals from not-so-low-income areas because they're providing a much-needed service to the community. This one's more like Good News for Mary Martin.
