I wasn’t there to birdwatch, however, I was volunteering with Wildlife ACT, a conservation organisation that provides science monitoring to the parks of Zululand in South Africa (and increasingly, beyond). It was pretty awesome to see so many tuskers, as well as families of elephants safe in their special park.

It was, based on a quick glance, a puppy, around 6 to 7 months old. Like other social animals, his family connections were keeping him alive, as his family was feeding him. Support Wildlife ACT in supporting them. It was not a pretty sight. Falakhe injured. And he was just lying there.

Especially it is associated with dogs, which may raise kids of other species and even of scary and dangerous representatives of wildlife! This case has strongly fascinated the publicity, which led to publishing the book about this awkward family – Tiger-Pups. Puma rejected her children and they were given to Mary.
