I get that you’re really angry, I mean, he was a popular lion and yes, his cute widdle cubs will probably die to, but I can’t help feeling you’ve kind of missed the point a bit, and well, ending all hunting in Africa will not solve much and maybe make things worse and… No, no, I’m not a hunter.

He clearly thinks that it is wrong to cause animals to suffer unnecessarily, but he appears to be somewhat ambivalent about killing animals (provided the killing is carried out humanely). However, the above rationalization does not directly address the issue of contributing to the unnecessary killing of a conscious sentient being.

My imagination conjured a frog desperate to return to his home and family, but trapped in a surreal world of artificially-cold air, very little dirt, ostensibly no available water, and precious few bugs to eat. I followed his call, but so did Emily The Hunter. I carried him toward the lake and released him under some shrubbery.
