It’s the boar hunting season. By the cliffs we find several Eurasian Crag-Martins and a consolation species – a family of Golden Eagles in the air! Eurasian Spoonbills are foraging, some of them literally running through the water chasing some fast food. We started from the village at, perhaps 50 m a.s.l.

On my recent short family vacation to Miami, I was granted a single day to get out and really bird like a madman. En route to our next stop we slowed down next to a park and spotted the now countable Egyptian Geese. And could we just do a quick drive through at a fast food joint? Only one cuckoo? Of course not!
