’ The Beautiful Sibia is beautiful even in Mandarin Chinese (Li se qi mei, “Beautiful babbler”) … … and of course in science (scientific name pulchella , “little beautiful”). Apparently, the dark color of the plant nectar attracts the bird, as shown by controlled experiments.

I agree with eBird that the Asian Glossy Starling is “fierce-looking” Appropriately, it is an invasive species in places such as Taiwan, where some papers recommend reducing the population. My cats refuse to even try Fiery Minivets. I am sure one could make a very boring movie based on the events described in this paper.
