I have, for the most part, been able to avoid caves since that experience. Much more exciting was the Blue-crowned Hanging Parrot that shot past, followed, on the rather slippery path to the caves, by several Rufous-winged Philentomas. A Bat Hawk hunting bats. For starters, the cave is surrounded by some rather nice forest.
