The pair was part of a project aimed at restoring the birds to Louisiana. Seriously, hunters. (Or, Or, rather, jerks who give the vast majority of ethical hunters a bad name.)

The Refuge is now home to nearly 200 species of birds, over 50 species of mammals, 25 species of reptiles and amphibians, and a wide variety of insects, fish and plants.
