Black Redstarts are rare in Shanghai (in fact, this was the first one I have ever seen here) but not so in France. Black Redstarts are rare in Shanghai (in fact, this was the first one I have ever seen here) but not so in France. Apparently, this bird enjoys sex outside of established relationships but less so with its formal partner.
