10,000 Birds

10,000 Birds

Image taken in Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania. He discovered numerous new species for science including this barbet and was the first person to confirm the existence of both Gorillas and Pygmies. This image was taken in Namibia’s Erongo Mountains. Notice the attractive spotted flanks of this Spot-flanked Barbet.
