Red Junglefowl by Mike Bergin Clare Kines chose an egg as his Best Bird of the Year. However, I am in a fierce and highly emotional year list competition with Corey, and it looks like I will lose against him. On occasion, they even incubate their eggs (they are non-parasitic cuckoos) in a communal nest.
