The Weekly Reader had shocked everyone in class with news of Bald Eagles dying – and humans were to blame! Fast forward to the next decade and humans were at it again. Fast forward to the next decade and humans were at it again. Images of wildlife coated in toxic goo haunted me; particularly the birds.

Not sure why they spend time in Shanghai in winter when they could come here though, but then again, I usually do not understand most of the behavior of humans either. A Crested Serpent Eagle , looking a bit ridiculous after a rain. Another “maybe this is” species: a possible Wallaces Hawk-eagle.

Though all birds will be somehow impacted by climate change, I think it is important to note that not all will suffer. Climate Change. Previously common at its only known site, Lake Aloatra, into the 1930’s, the introduction of numerous exotic fish species and human disturbance led to massive population declines.
