Officer Wayne Smith takes to the streets of a drug-infested neighborhood to collect intel using a hidden camera and a rescued pit bull as a decoy. Just moments after they document a critical meeting between the suspect and a known dog breeder, a neighborhood “scout” marks their vehicle, forcing them to quickly flee the scene.

Many of us have difficulty with the idea of keeping “pets.” When it comes to pets, the only reasons he considers for keeping pets have to do with the enrichment of the lives of people. At least his research on pit bull-types of dogs demonstrates the injustice they face. . Of course that can be debated.

Except for the poor pit bulls, street dogs are about the most vilified canines on the planet. Let me tell you – I’ve met some street dogs who curl up with cats and babies, and I’ve met some pet dogs (like my human’s grandmother’s Chihuahua!) Look, I’m a pet now.
