I have seen documentaries of yak herders in Mongolia, but I never thought I would see something similar with my own eyes. We did not make too many other stops other than to head back to the “Highest Bar in Africa” for a celebratory beer and I was able to add to my foreign currency collection with a $20 Lesotho Loti.

Or maybe there was just more need to collect food, but I like the first explanation better. BirdingAsia has a report on the first Rosy Pipit seen in Mongolia. The Rosy Pipit seems a bit oversold to me as it takes a lot of goodwill to see the rosiness of the species. Being wet seems to help, though.
