People ask me about my favorite story in the collection. Then I noticed that several family members were also nursing bleeding wounds. It showed Fizzle, white fur gleaming, red bow in his topknot, sitting on the lap of a woman who, like Barb, looked as if she hadn’t lived an easy life. I swore and jumped back.
