I've been trying to find polling data on Proposition 2, but this is all I could find. As the quarterly campaign finance period closed today, the YES! The results of a new statewide poll by KSFN-Fresno/SurveyUSA shows overwhelming support from voters, with Prop 2 commanding a 62-point lead: 72-10 (18 undecided).

Proposition 2 has been passed in California. From the campaign website : (Nov. As of 11 PM PST, Prop 2 was leading 62% to 38%. on Prop 2 campaign. Proposition 2 ends the practice of confining certain animals raised for food in crates and cages so small the animals can barely move.

I got curious today and googled "Jennifer Fearing," the woman who led the Yes on Proposition 2 campaign. Tags: proposition 2 california humane society farm animal welfare. It turns out that she was the former Humane Society Chief Economist. Pretty impressive bio (please note that the bio is from her time at HSUS).
