In other news, PETA received more publicity for their anti seal hunting campaign when one of their protesters was hit in the face with a pie. Tags: seal hunters PETA. This after a PETA activist hit Canada Fisheries Minister Gail Shae with a pie. That's good, because I really hate Canada's odious seal hunt.

Again, they just want to prevent the "cruel" hunters from killing Bambi's mother. Latimer's ignorance also comes across in his discussion of anti-fur campaigns, so it's easy to miss this potentially good point (about some animal activists): But did you ever notice that we don't hear very much from them if anything about shoe leather?

If you wrote to Tennessee in the 10,000 Birds campaign this winter, you can cut and paste your letter, changing “Tennessee&# to “Kentucky.&# of Fish and Wildlife Commissioner Jon Gassett has indicated that if enough people write in protest, the proposed hunting season–due to start this December– will be reconsidered.
