If so, campaign to ban the rodeo, for heaven's sake! Just be honest about your goal and campaign for it! But the HSUS is by no means an animal-rights organization; it is an animal welfare organization. Will the VHS support the rodeo if calf-roping is banned? That's what the ad would make me think.

I don't think anyone is campaigning for "farm" animals to become pets, as many of us don't even think the family cat should be the family cat. Translation?
