Wolfe Creek Crater birding
10,000 Birds
JULY 26, 2015
This is cattle country and it is actually fenced, which many parts of the Kimberley are not and you pass through Ruby Plains and then Carranya station to reach the crater. There were several sandy patches that showed evidence of small mammals, but they were no doubt nocturnal. Camel bush. One large tree on the edge of the rim.
