The first three sections are brief, presenting a summary of the bird’s current NYC status (migrant, resident, breeder, vagrant, etc.), Norse was a Wall Street broker; John Kieran was a sports reporter and radio panelist. This is a project that clearly spanned decades. Another big year memoir? I love reading all of the above.
