Adolescent Galahs are prone to behavioral problems; they will become noisy, aggressive, and destructive if not provided enough physical or emotional support. On the other hand, the Black Kite is a raptor not known for integrity – Black Kites are opportunistic hunters and are more likely to scavenge ( source ).

We actually spent considerable time searching unsuccessfully for this highly sought-after bird; however I did suspect they were not gone, as several hunters I interviewed knew the bird and claimed it still existed. According to the World Bank, up to 80 percent of Ghana’s forests had been destroyed by illegal logging by 2008.
