Turns out the founder of TRC and many the vets who worked in clinic were falconers as well. Many get their birds from breeders. Of course I can’t speak for every falconer out there. Then I started volunteering at The Raptor Center to give educational programs with live birds of prey and my trainer was a master falconer.
