Why anyone would examine a specimen collected in 1888 for mummified chewing lice is a mystery to me, but so is the appeal of Donald Trump. Makes them sort of the renters of the woodpecker world rather than homeowners. I was expecting to see quite a few barbets in Sabah but eventually only got decent photos of one, the Brown Barbet.
