Either that or having family friends in Germany. Previously, all these dark, distant birds turned out to be Eurasian Blackbirds and after turning around and finding a safe place to stop on the incline, amongst speeding traffic in the middle of the road, I put my binoculars to confirm its Blackbird status. A quick sidetrack.
