A third of a century ago, when the modern animal-liberation movement was in its infancy, Martin published an essay entitled “A Critique of Moral Vegetarianism,” Reason Papers (fall 1976): 13-43. I suspect that many readers of this blog are Christians but not vegetarians. The contrast would be, for example, “health vegetarianism.”

I looked online and all I could find was this article on The Vegetarian Site. If, in fact, Trader Joe's deems debeaking as necessary, then this immediately reveals the high density of birds. Tags: eggs consumption farm animal welfare groceries. But are they really free-range eggs?

The tiresome Hitler was a well-known vegetarian comment is included in this segment, but I found it irksome long before that. Tags: Activism Current Affairs Ethics Language. He writes, "The dog remained a vital tool in biomedical research for more than 300 years and was the vehicle for a remarkable run of medical breakthroughs.".
