I’ve been to the Sounds before, but I had never visited them specifically to bird, which means I hadn’t seen the specialities there. New Zealand Fur-seals are the most common pinniped found in New Zealand. This trip was to rectify that. Spotted Shags are endemic to New Zealand. A Bellbird singing.
