By the time you read this post I will still be in New York but I’ll be looking forward to leaving for the 2011 Midwest Birding Symposium in Lakeside, Ohio. But Ohio worries me. PRO – The American Federation of Labor was founded in Columbus, Ohio in December of 1886. Ohio should stick with amateur sports!

The image above is the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland Ohio. The citizens of Cleveland, and indeed the nation, decided something needed to be done about the pollution of our waterways. The Cuyahoga River caught fire thirteen times between 1868 and 1969. www.youtube.com/watch?
