The Ross Sea is the most productive stretch of water in the Southern Ocean, teeming with large predatory fish, whales, seals, penguins and other animals that form the last intact marine ecosystem on Earth. We have loved seeing places that few people ever get to see, and learning about the interesting wildlife that lives there. We loved seeing penguins, whales, polar bears, and wolves. We loved it when the penguins jumped out of the water, and right onto a camera man! Some of it is quiet funny as well.
