What’s in a Name?

10,000 Birds

Call me old fashioned if you like, but I rather like many of these old names, as they put a bit of colour and interest into birding, especially if you bother to investigate who exactly the birds are named after. Eleonora’s Falcons still breed on Sardinia today. However, most of us still call it a Bewick’s.

Draai Laag Brewing Company: Haviken

10,000 Birds

The brewery calls Haviken a dubbel , a popular Belgian beer style best known to drinkers through the iconic Trappist products by the monastic brewers of Westmalle and Chimay.
