Not a cover species The Black Kite is not actually black, but of course, misleading bird names are not exactly rare. Actually, the HBW remarks that “Form swinhoei appears distinctive; further research, including vocal and genetic analyses, desirable”, so maybe this will turn out to be a separate species eventually.
