Parrots in My Costa Rican Neighborhood

This is the only parrot in the Central Valley with a short tail, white crown, and bat-like flight whereby the wings are flapped below the plane of the body. At least the tree is not found on their property and this probably gives it some protection. White-fronted Parrot. The other regular parrot around here is this species.

They look crap but presumably offer some protection for the chicks, though not from each other (see the murderous activities within the nests in my previous post ). The Bat Hawk mainly eats bats, as the name suggests – in a curiously precise statement, Wikipedia claims that 49.3% Then, there are raptors.

If you like animals you will generally not want them to suffer and you won’t want them to go extinct. Animal rights is concerned with preventing the suffering or even use of animals by humans. Wildlife conservation is concerned with protecting wildlife at the level of species or perhaps population.
