The Australian Brush-turkey ( Alectura lathami ) is a common sight in the rainforests of Australia. In the parking area I immediately encountered a pair of Australian Brush-turkeys as well as a new species for me, a Grey-headed Robin. Not just new species for me, but the first bird-of-paradise I have ever seen, which was very exciting.
