Our little adventure now moves us farther north, into Idaho’s Teton Valley area, and a visit to Jackson, Wyoming. As we get a little farther north, my target list for bird species has diminished a bit, as there are a lot of repeats, and not many new bird opportunities. Idaho has been very much that sort of exploring.

The World Center for Birds of Prey ( The Peregrine Fund ) in Boise, Idaho, most famous for its Peregrine Falcons , also has a vital population of California condors. It also makes them champions at soaring, sometimes covering one hundred miles or more a day, coasting on thermals and keeping close watch on telltale animal behavior.

The editorial board of the Times is intellectually dishonest, so please don't let this be your only source of information about the delisting.

They’re becoming an expected sight there – and one that’s hard to miss given their immense size.

In my earlier post "Children and Heart Disease" available here , I noted that, in the seventh and final edition of Dr. Spock's Baby and Child Care: A Handbook for Parents of the Developing Child from Birth to Adolescence , Dr. Benjamin Spock no longer recommends feeding animal products to children after two years of age. The answer is "Yes."
