A monkey was rescued from a factory in India where it was being held in captivity. According to the article, "Zoochosis is a term used by animal rights activists in reference to the degrading effect of zoos on animals that have been kept in captivity over a long period of time. Poor monkey!

For me, the focus on culture and tradition is basically an excuse for "anything goes" when it comes to animals. Are the kids cooking monkey, cat, dog, alligator or turtle? I wonder how much they learn about the animals other cultures eat. (In Any other factories on the agenda? But I bet anything doesn't go. One is male.
