Like a "BBQ, pony rides and a petting zoo!" When I started thinking about trying to get the association to cancel the pony rides and petting zoo (which are often part of one business as a quick Google search of " traveling petting zoo " will demonstrate), my several-year vegan husband said, "What's the use? It boggles the mind.

This was illegal, because according to FWC regulations, if you already own a pet that has been deemed invasive or illegal, you are allowed to keep it until its natural death, and it will not be confiscated or euthanized. Reptiles that are not treated ethically simply do not make good pets.

Many of us have difficulty with the idea of keeping “pets.” He watched cockfighting and killed and skinned animals, but won’t eat veal.

Additionally, Wildlife Services puts little emphasis on using non-lethal methods, and puts few resources towards developing new, ethical non-lethal research; • Unnecessary and Fiscally Unsound - Taxpayers are paying the bill for these activities, and Wildlife Services fails to protect the businesses it supposedly helps.
