Man Kills Goldfish in Domestic Violence Attack, Gets Probation

PORTLAND, Ore. — A 27-year-old man who attacked his ex-girlfriend and killed her pet fish has been sentenced to two years probation and a psychological evaluation. The woman fled, then returned to find her fish on the floor with a knife through it. Fite pleaded guilty to animal abuse and domestic-violence assault.
