Man Kills Goldfish in Domestic Violence Attack, Gets Probation

. — A 27-year-old man who attacked his ex-girlfriend and killed her pet fish has been sentenced to two years probation and a psychological evaluation. Court documents say Donald Earl Fite III wanted to reunite with the woman in July, but she wasn’t willing. Fite pleaded guilty to animal abuse and domestic-violence assault.
