As for Project Treadstone, there have been three fatalities-by-automobile and one litter of three kittens, two of whom were caught and adopted fairly early. Finally, I was asked to participate in a new TNR group in my town that started largely because of my oodles of questions and setting of policy for Project Treadstone!

So I do what I can do, beginning of course with being vegan. I rescue, I adopt, I do TNR, and I connect others to resources to do the same. I don't even have the skill set to be the person who reviews the evidence and builds a case. And I am not made of the stuff that can survive such jobs and still remain effective.

I have mixed feelings about TNR. “Why can’t the kittens be adopted,” I asked in her comments section. There times when nature takes its course, but honestly it is the true cycle of life in nature. Case in point: some of my family members have become active with feral cat colony organizations.
