Unfortunately, a recession also means that less people are adopting from or donating to shelters. And this all leads to the most unfortunate outcome, euthanasia. 5K Run/Walk, Kid’s Fun Run and Adoption Celebration. Each year these groups combined, rescue and find homes for over 2,000 abandoned Southland dogs and cats, animals that most likely would otherwise have lost their lives. 4th ANNUAL “RACE FOR THE RESCUES” FUNDRASIER.
