At high tide the shorebirds have a protection wall where they can roost on green lawn and feel safe. We did have the good fortune of finding an individually marked Bar-tailed Godwit that was marked in Yalu Jiang Nature Reserve in China last April 15th and was last seen there on May 11th 2012. Shorebird roost at Toorbul.
