1,125,667 animals were adopted between Oct. Iams and longtime partner Helen Woodward Animal Center, along with more than 3,500 animal organizations from around the world once again joined forces to help reduce pet homelessness. The 2011 program will begin in October. 1 and Jan. Here are how the numbers break down: 593,146 dogs.
