Definitively the Egyptians!

In the 21st century the Egyptian Vulture is an extinct species in Serbia; although we do occasionally have one bird in the Uvac Gorge Griffon Vulture Sanctuary and hope that it might form a pair… Ever since I published a note on the unseen species, I wanted to see it – but the bird was nowhere to be found.

Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge is a 10,144 acre refuge officially established in 1963 under the authority of the Migratory Bird Conservation Act “for use as an inviolate sanctuary , or for any other management purpose, for migratory birds.” Note in this 2010 video, birders, birdwatching and kayakers are mentioned, not hunters.
