Inaccessible Island Rail Atlantisia rogersi

Occasionally the Tristan Thrush Nesocichla eremita will prey upon chicks from the two-egg nest of the Inaccessible Island Rail but this not enough in any way to threaten the species. Searching for vultures in India

Logging into my eBird account… December 6th, 2010. The disappearance of vultures has allowed other species such as rat and [stray] dog populations to grow. A vulture’s metabolism is a true “dead-end” for pathogens, but dogs and rats become carriers of the pathogens. Oh, that cover photo? Let me see, when was it?
