Serengeti NP protects a huge swathe of almost 15,000 km2 / 6000 mi2 in north-west Tanzania. Also, the lake is the most reliable place for both Black and White Rhinos in the whole of East Africa. The furry kind is represented with 95 species – more than in any other Ugandan park, 10 primates among them, including the Chimpanzee.
