It’s so much easier to delete a picture than to end the life of a mortally wounded cat-caught bird, like this Downy Woodpecker … who is alive, but not for long. There is no moral ambiguity here. How lucky you are that you can delete them with the push of a button. They are safer and live far longer indoors.
