We have given an awful exhibition of slaughter and destruction, which may serve as a warning to all mankind. Of course, by now most people know they have been slaughtered by hunters for their ivory.

Mr. Steiner rightly rejects this view as morally flawed. Wolves eat sheep. Go vegan, go vegetarian, go humane or just eat less meat.
