For some reason that is hard for me to fathom, there is no such bird as a Cape Woodpecker. The Common Waxbill looks like it belongs in a pet shop rather than in the wild. In fact, this is probably a species that has substantially expanded its original range through the pet shop route and the resulting escapees.

I’ve rescued field mice to horses, and everything in between. Can you convince yourselves that your cat does not kill birds, when statistics show pet cats only bring home 23% of their kills? Dear Outdoor Cat Owners/Feral Cat Supporters, Does the photo above sicken you? It sickens me. There is no moral ambiguity here.
