Broome’s famous Cable Beach, named after the telegraph undersea cable that was laid in 1889 to enable communication with England via Singapore, stretches about 23 kilometres-14 miles. We didn’t see the crocodile, but there was a Flatback Turtle in the creek. There were some rather nice specimens.
