The “Crow Down” is a “hunting contest” where both adults and children slaughter as many crows as they possibly can in two days. Look at the Maryland-based website Crow Busters , although I warn you you’ll need a strong stomach for the photographs. One hopes this is the direction in which all killing contests are headed.

Ethical vegetarianism is the thesis that killing and eating animals is morally wrong whenever equally nutritious plant-based alternatives are available. Similarly, most people also agree that: (2) It is wrong to kill a conscious sentient animal for no good reason. Nor ought we kill them without reason.
