Call and transport the bird to a bird rehabber ASAP. It needs to be properly medicated and triaged. Did you know a bird’s body has the ability to seal a small puncture wound within minutes? Most likely the bird will need to be medicated for a few days “just in case.”. It is illegal to keep a wild bird.
