The little known Red-faced is found in moist broad-leafed woodlands of very southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and remote north-west Tanzania. He discovered numerous new species for science including this barbet and was the first person to confirm the existence of both Gorillas and Pygmies. Image from Kakamega Forest, Kenya.
